Caryl served as Vice Consul of Suriname from 1991 to 2003, and in 1994, he was the one who gave SANI the chance to proclaim our organization at the Consulate — the moment that launched everything that followed. For decades since, he's organized football tournaments, music groups, and cultural events, and guided three different Surinamese presidents through visits to the U.S.
